At Little Owl Pre-School our ethos is based on the understanding that children are foremost their own educators – natural learners with ability, curiosity and imagination. A child’s experience in the early years has a major impact on their future. We believe each child deserves the best possible start in life and the support to fulfil their potential. As professionals we nurture their learning by providing the opportunity and tools to enable all our children to be happy, secure and independent individuals. Our nursery follows the government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in order to provide the assurance to parents or carers that our care and education provision will keep their children safe and support their learning. A really special feature of our nursery is our wonderful out door area. Complete with safety flooring, activity stations that allow free access and child choice, a designated gardening area and barked investigation station, two large canopied areas and a canopied stage area with sand and water areas, role play and road ways for cars and trikes. Winding woodland pathways lead to an exciting woodland discovery area amongst trees and meadow flowers, where your children can investigate living creatures all around them throughout the year.
